The West Indies all-rounder and legendary IPL player Dwayne Bravo Retires from IPL. He has been appointed as the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2023. Lakshmipathy Balaji, who served as the Super Kings’ bowling coach up until the end of the previous campaign, has taken a year off for “personal commitments,” according to the team, but he will still be involved with the Super Kings Academy.

Before the mini-auction for the 2023 IPL, Chennai Super Kings released him from the squad and after a few days, he withdraws his name from the auction list and announced that he will not be a part of IPL 2023 as a player. Today CSK appointed him as their bowling coach for the IPL 2023.

Bravo has participated in the IPL every year since it began in 2008, with the exception of 2017, when he was unable to play for the Gujarat Lions due to an injury. He had initially joined Mumbai Indians in 2008, spending three seasons with them until being acquired by Super Kings in an auction in 2011. Bravo was chosen by the Lions while the Super Kings were suspended for two seasons in 2016 and 2017 before being retained by the Super Kings in 2018.
